Much of the work at The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County - the business of business - would not be possible without the invaluable contributions of many Chamber members who voluntarily serve and work on our committees. In addition to the rewards of serving a community-minded organization, committee members are also afforded additional opportunities to network, promote their own businesses and make friends.
New Special Interest Groups are now forming for 2017:
Human Resources: Open to HR Management Professionals.
Lansdale Business: Open to all business owners in 19446 zip code. Focus will be on promoting business in the Lansdale Borough.
LGBT: First meeting scheduled for January 26, 2017.
Nonprofit: Open to staff of 501 (c)(3) organizations.
Small Business: Assist with planning for Small Business University scheduled for November. Committee members are not eligible to be a speaker.
Young Professionals: Assist with development of future initiatives.

Ambassadors serve as advocates for the Chamber by promoting and advancing the services and programs of our Chamber to potential and current members. They also assist new members acclimate to the Chamber by identifying strategic partnerships within the Chamber and facilitate business connections. The Ambassadors help build and exceptional community and strong business climate and provide value to our members.
*Meets on the fourth Wednesday bi-monthly at 8:00 am at the Chamber.
The Health Committee is comprised of representatives from a diverse group of health-related businesses that assist in the development of programs for the Chamber membership as well as the community. An annual Health Expo is held in August and a Health e-newsletter is published monthly.
*Meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am in the Community Room at Shop Rite, Hatfield.
One of the most active programs at the Chamber, the Women's Network was organized "to support and elevate women in business." Each month, the committee works to select and feature speakers to address issues relevant to women in business along with a nonprofit organization to showcase and support. This Committee represents all facets of the Chamber's mission to provide opportunities for networking, learning and giving. In recognition of their contribution, they were the recipient of the 2013 President's Award.
