The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County will recognize four outstanding members on November 12, pairing its annual awards with exclusive video highlights from Chamber Conversations, a fireside chat series hosted by President and CEO Christy Holland.

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County invites members and the regional business community to its Annual Member Celebration on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Manor House at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

This year’s celebration brings a more relaxed, social atmosphere with a focus on what matters most to the Chamber’s business community: building relationships, making connections, and celebrating the people who help local businesses and organizations thrive.

Good Food. Great People. More Time to Connect. sets the tone for an evening featuring an open bar, unique food stations, and plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle without the constraints of traditional assigned seating. Guests can enjoy appetizers, food stations, and time to connect with business and community leaders throughout the region.

The evening’s Member Awards will recognize four individuals whose involvement, leadership, and commitment make a difference across the Chamber and the broader business community.

Meet This Year’s Member Award Honorees

Rookie of the Year Award, presented by QNB Bank: Ciera Schultz, Johnson Kendall & Johnson

Ciera joined the Chamber as an individual member after attending the Power Your Potential Montgomery County Women’s Conference. Since then, she has become an active contributor to the Young Professionals Group, supported planning for the Power Your Potential conference, and regularly participated in Chamber events. She is also working to connect her firm, Johnson Kendall & Johnson, with the Chamber and the Horsham Business Association as the company establishes its presence in Horsham.

President’s Award, presented by Harleysville Bank: Tom Cooper, Galco Business Communications

Tom has been a longstanding supporter of the Chamber and an invaluable resource to the organization. His contributions include helping advance the Business Partnership Network and supporting the Chamber as it navigates and evolves its technology infrastructure. His knowledge of the organization and willingness to help have made him an important partner during a year of transition and growth.

Entrepreneur of the Year Award, presented by Volpe Enterprises: Farnaz Dar, North Penn Cleaning Solutions, The Clutter Free Family, and SauFennel

A Chamber member since 2015, Farnaz brings an entrepreneurial spirit to three businesses. She serves on the Minority and Small Business Council, welcomes new members as an ambassador at the Chamber’s New Member Breakfast, and has participated in Cooking for a Cause for all three years of the event. She also remains actively engaged in the Chamber’s signature and monthly programs.

Bridge Builder Award, presented by My Benefit Advisor: Terry Smerling, DelVal Senior Advisors

Terry is a valued connection between the Chamber and the Horsham Business Association. She serves on the HBA Advisory Committee, regularly participates in the Alliance of Women in Business, attends HBA events, and serves as an ambassador for both organizations. Her consistent engagement helps strengthen relationships and create connections across the regional business community.

Beyond the Awards: The Chamber Chat

This year's celebration will offer attendees a closer look at the people behind these accomplishments through The Chamber Chat, a fireside chat series filmed by Chamber President and CEO Christy Holland.

Holland sat down individually with each award recipient to discuss their experiences, perspectives, and contributions. The Annual Member Celebration will feature a three-minute highlight reel of the fireside chats, giving attendees a preview of the conversations and the people behind the awards. The full The Chamber Chat series is scheduled to air in 2027.

The videos reflect the Chamber’s commitment to highlighting the stories, expertise, and relationships that make its membership valuable. They also extend the recognition beyond the event, giving the community an opportunity to learn more about the leaders and entrepreneurs who are helping shape the region.

An Evening Designed for Connection

The Annual Member Celebration is more than an awards program. It is an opportunity to recognize the people who invest their time, talent, and energy in the region while creating new opportunities for business relationships to grow.

The evening begins with networking, appetizers, food stations, and an open bar. The main program will feature the Member Awards and video highlights, followed by dessert, coffee, and additional opportunities to congratulate the honorees and connect with fellow attendees.
